About This Project

Description:

 

Multiworks inherited the second stage at Keilor Terminal Station following the insolvency of the previous contractor. Whilst relatively simple in nature; the works where required to be completed in a tight timeframe. Encountering both unstable soil conditions and working around the existing transformer base provided unique challenges to the project. Multiworks however, where able to successfully deliver the foundation on time for the delivery of the new transformer.

The scope of works included:

  • Demolition of blast walls & support footings
  • Construction of the B1 transformer foundation
  • Installation of conduits
  • Construction of monopole footings
  • Tapped into the existing environmental drainage system
