The Sunbury Recycled Water Plant Upgrade project for Western Water is required to increase the capacity of the existing RWP to cater for projected population growth within the Sunbury and Diggers Rest townships.
Multiworks were engaged through Downer for these works initially to undertake a major earthworks package, that eventually led to the award of other civil, structure and building works over a 17 month period. Multiworks was the main civil partner onsite completing over 2M of work. Some of the scope included;
- Major earthworks
- In-ground and out-of-ground pipe installation
- In-situ tank construction
- Foundations and pipework for new water treatment equipment
- New blockwork control building for equipment
