Indigenous Participation

Acknowledgement of Country

At Multiworks, we honour Australia’s rich Indigenous heritage and the enduring connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to land, waters, and community.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge the past, recognise the present, and are committed to contributing to a brighter, more inclusive future.

Supporting Indigenous Participation

Multiworks is committed to making positive contributions to the communities in which we operate and recognise and respect the needs of Indigenous Australians.
Our objective is to align with the Australian Government Policy to drive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) employment.

To achieve this objective Multiworks will:

  • Take a collaborative approach to harness team diversity and identify individual strengths by giving all workers and subcontractors a voice and ample opportunity to provide feedback on any issues of concern.
  • Value contributions made by Indigenous Australians to the workplace.
  • Promote cultural diversity by assisting all employees to understand and adhere to cultural protocols and respect the customs of Indigenous people and their communities.
  • Develop strategies to include opportunities for Indigenous people.
