Multiworks are incredibly proud to announce that Mark Psaila & the Multiworks team have won the 2020 Australian Institute of Building Professional Excellence Award for Infrastructure in Victoria.

This award recognises the incredible hard work demonstrated by the Multiworks team in the delivery of the Richmond Terminal Station re-build.

As one of Victoria's largest and most complex electrical infrastructure re-builds undertaken in recent history, the project was completed in late 2019 and involved the progressive upgrade of ageing infrastructure over seven years. Works included the construction of 6 transformer enclosures, new GIS 220kV and 66kV buildings, precast blast and noise walls, architectural cladding, renovations to heritage-listed buildings, retaining walls, bored piers, sheet piling, switchyard footings, cable ducts, powered security fencing, automated gates, oil containment systems, monopoles, heavy-duty hardstand and associated underground HV/LV conduits, environmental remediation and landscaping.

We would like to acknowledge the incredible work by our clients, Ausnet Services, Zinfra, CitiPower and Powercor, for the collaborative and innovative approach they took to the redevelopment of RTS and for making a highly complex and difficult project a great place to work.
