Multiworks was engaged to deliver civil works associated with the installation of new carbon filtration equipment at Asahi’s operational beverage production facility in Laverton. The works were undertaken within a live manufacturing environment, requiring tight spatial control, coordinated staging, and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Project Description
The filtration infrastructure formed part of a critical process upgrade, with foundations needing to be delivered to tight tolerances to support equipment performance and long-term reliability. All activities were carefully planned to ensure continuity of production and alignment with Asahi’s safety and access protocols.
Scope of works included:
- Construction of reinforced concrete foundations for carbon filtration infrastructure
- Integration of works within existing site constraints and underground services
- Coordination with mechanical and process teams to align foundation delivery with equipment commissioning
- All works delivered adjacent to live plant and equipment in a food-grade production setting
