Multiworks was appointed by AusNet as the Principal Contractor to upgrade non-compliant security fencing, signage, and gates across six zone substations: Moe, Ringwood, Warragul, Sale, Nagambie, and Watsonia. These upgrades were critical for improving site security and compliance with current standards.
Project Description
Due to the presence of underground services along the substation boundaries, the project required careful planning and execution to avoid service disruptions. As Principal Contractor, Multiworks managed all necessary permits and oversaw the works to ensure seamless delivery without impacting the electrical network.
The project was successfully completed two months ahead of schedule, with zero safety incidents.
