Multiworks was engaged by McMahon Services to deliver critical civil works at HMAS Cerberus, one of Australia’s largest defence training bases located on the Mornington Peninsula.
Project Description
Our scope focused on the rehabilitation of key internal roadways and pedestrian links across the base. The works involved the excavation, repair, and resurfacing of deteriorated pavements, reconstruction of selected crossing points, and the installation of new line marking and electronic speed signage to improve base-wide traffic safety.
Operating within a secure defence facility, the project required careful planning, adherence to base access protocols, and close coordination with other on-site contractors to ensure minimal disruption to operational activities.
Key scope items included:
- Civil repair and resurfacing of roads and pedestrian paths
- Reconstruction of pit and drainage infrastructure
- Installation of electronic speed signage and traffic line marking
- General site works across multiple live zones of the base
The successful delivery of these works reflects Multiworks’ ability to operate efficiently and discreetly within active defence environments and adhere to the compliance standards expected on Commonwealth sites.
