Founded by Alan Psaila and Richard Crosby, Multiworks is an accredited specialist civil and infrastructure contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across Australia.
We believe our people are what make us great. We’re not just building infrastructure, we’re building a culture where care, courage, credibility, and craft come together to create something exceptional.
We operate across a range of essential sectors including energy, water, transport and logistics, and industry, with a focus on long-term capital and maintenance programs.
Multiworks was engaged to deliver the civil construction works at Keilor as part of an essential infrastructure package supporting the rollout of High Capacity Metropolitan Trains (HCMT) across Melbourne’s rail network. The project forms part of broader upgrades to improve power supply, system resilience and train frequency on some of the city’s busiest lines.
Project Description
The works were delivered in a constrained, live environment and required detailed sequencing to align with program-critical milestones. Multiworks worked closely with stakeholders to ensure safety and access protocols were maintained throughout delivery.
Scope of works included:
Major earthworks and site levelling
Construction of switchyard and transformer bay foundations
Installation of earthing and underground conduits
Water management systems including drainage, kerbing and retention
Site preparation and pad construction for transportable substation buildings
Perimeter fencing, access gates and hardstand surfacing
The Keilor package highlights Multiworks’ role in supporting high-voltage substation delivery within operational transport corridors.
