Multiworks was engaged by McMahon Services to undertake targeted demolition works at St Joseph’s College in Ferntree Gully, as part of a broader campus redevelopment program. The works involved the deconstruction of select building structures and infrastructure within an active school environment, requiring detailed planning to manage safety, noise, and dust in a live educational setting.
Project Description
Working to McMahon’s program and site protocols, Multiworks performed soft strip-out and structural demolition activities with strict adherence to environmental and community impact controls. The project demanded careful staging to maintain separation from student and staff areas, with works scheduled to avoid peak activity periods on campus.
Scope of works included:
- Demolition of nominated school buildings and structural slabs
