Construction of all works were completed on the Sandringham Substation in a residential area. Each day Multiworks was faced with the challenges of continual interaction with residents and heavy vehicle movements in Station St. As a result of the restricted space the were no designated construction/lay down areas. Planning was key to the project as delivery of materials (conduits, steel etc) and machinery were scheduled to arrive/delivered as required not ahead of schedule and remain onsite until used. Multiworks were involved in Multiple rail occupations, these occupations were critical to the success of the project. All works within the rail corridor were completed in these occupations. Planning was key to the success of the occupations. In cases the time frames allocated were not comparative to works required to be completed, in many instances Multiworks had multiple plant and upto 20 site personnel to ensure the timeframes and works scheduled were completed.
