A Company-Wide Pause to Reflect, Connect and Look Ahead

Last Friday, Multiworks pressed pause across all sites and operations to come together for one of the most important days on our calendar – Stop for Us Day 2025.

Stop for Us Day is our annual company-wide gathering where work on site comes to a halt and our people come together under one roof. It’s a deliberate pause in the year to reflect on our progress, align on our future direction, recognise achievements, and strengthen the connections that power our business every day.

Reflecting on Progress and Setting Direction

The day began with a warm welcome and a company update, where we shared key achievements from the past year and outlined our priorities for the months ahead. From project milestones to strategic goals, the session provided clarity on where we are heading and reinforced how every team contributes to our broader vision.

We then moved into project highlights, showcasing the breadth and impact of work delivered across the business. These updates not only celebrated results, but also reinforced the collaboration, innovation and dedication that define Multiworks.

Building a Respectful, High-Performing Culture

A key focus of Stop for Us Day is investing in our people and culture. This year, Vanessa from The Learning Circle Co. delivered an engaging and thought-provoking Respect at Work session. The workshop sparked meaningful conversations across teams and reinforced our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful workplace for everyone.

In the afternoon, we were privileged to hear from special guest Andrew Blowers, former NZ All Black, who shared powerful insights into what it takes to build and sustain high-performing teams. Drawing on his elite sporting experience, Andrew spoke about accountability, trust, shared purpose and resilience – qualities that resonate strongly within our own teams.

Celebrating Our People

Stop for Us Day is also about recognition.

We celebrated individuals who are living our company values and making a tangible difference across the business. We also honoured our long-service team members, including three outstanding employees who reached the remarkable milestone of 20 years with Multiworks. Their dedication and loyalty are a testament to the strength of our culture and community.
